ABOUT ME
My name is Rebecca Newell. I currently live
in Deatsville, AL. I am a certified Doula with DONA International. I
am a military wife and a mother of three beautiful children(an 8 year old boy and
twin 4 year old boy & girl).
I decided to become a doula because I have a true passion for nurturing and
helping pregnant women. I love doing whatever I can to help make the experience
of pregnancy and birth as enjoyable as possible. My first birth experience with my son
was long, painful, tiring and did I mention LONG? With my doula training I have
learned that the birth experience can be so much more enjoyable and memorable
with a little help. There are many techniques that are non-invasive that my
expectant mommies can do to relieve pain and help bring the baby down for birth.
As a certified doula, I am trained and qualified to happily and lovingly support
you through this incredibly amazing event in your life. During the labor and
birth of your baby I will use the techniques of massage, concentration and
position changes, along with encouragement and support to help give you the
experience you are hoping for.
