"It was the best decision we’ve ever made.  Rebecca was amazing.  Labor is hard work.  Obviously for the mom, but also for the coach.  My labor was long, and at times, scary, and having a trusted friend there to help me and to help Vince was indescribable.  During the actual labor, both Vince and Rebecca were there cheering me on and keeping me calm.  Rebecca was never in the way or intrusive.  There were times when she would fade back into the background and allow Vince and me to have intimate moments that only a husband and wife can experience during the birth of their child.  And, there were times when she was right there with us helping me to cope with the pain and stay relaxed.  I trusted her, and it was so wonderful to have someone there who knew exactly what I was going through.  She has 3 children of her own, and I was amazed at her knowledge and ability to stay cool and collected; especially at the moments when I was certain I couldn’t keep going.  She assured me that I could, and I would.  And… I did!"
